Tulsa Tough’s 3 day cycling festival kicks off at 6:15PM on June 10th in the Blue Dome District. The festival opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm. However, don’t feel like you have to rush home after the excitement of the races end. There is plenty to do in the Blue Dome District from some Tulsa’s best locally owned restaurants, bowling at the Dust Bowl, to line dancing at Legends.
Tulsa Tough was ranked in the top 4 of all NRC (National Racing Calendar) events in 2009, and continues to be ranked as one of the top cycling races in the US each year. Tulsa Tough draws an international crowd as well as fans from all 50 states with over 5,000 cyclists competing each year. You don’t even have to be a cycling fan to appreciate and get caught up in the fun and excitement. But probably the most important aspect of this event is that it supports the fight on obesity, diabetes and heart disease. So whether you are looking for a good time or a worthy cause Tulsa Tough is an event that is worth checking out.
